SMS Integration (Twilio)

Send text message alerts directly to your phone.

Prerequisites

You'll need a Twilio account with:

• An Account SID
• An Auth Token
• A phone number with SMS capability

Setup

Step 1: Get Twilio Credentials

1. Log into your Twilio console
2. Find your Account SID and Auth Token on the dashboard
3. Get or purchase a phone number with SMS capability

Step 2: Add to Statly

1. Go to Settings > Integrations
2. Click Add SMS
3. Enter your Twilio credentials:
   • Account SID
   • Auth Token
   • From Number (your Twilio number)
4. Add recipient phone numbers (comma-separated)

SMS alerts are concise (under 160 characters):

Cost Considerations

SMS messages incur Twilio charges. Configure alert rules carefully to avoid unexpected costs. Consider:

• Using SMS only for critical monitors
• Setting appropriate cooldown periods
• Limiting recipients to on-call personnel
