Auto-Incident Rules
Create incidents automatically when error patterns emerge.
Default Rules
Two rules are created by default:
- Error Spike: 200% increase → Major incident
- Critical Threshold: 10 critical errors in 15 min → Major incident
Creating Custom Rules
Spike Detection
Triggers when error rate exceeds a baseline:
- Threshold: percentage increase (e.g., 200%)
- Time window: comparison period
- Cooldown: prevent duplicate incidents
Count Threshold
Triggers when error count exceeds a limit:
- Count: number of errors
- Time window: measurement period
- Severity filter: which errors to count
Rule Actions
When triggered, rules can:
- Create an incident
- Set incident severity
- Link related issues
- Notify specific channels
